InnoCentive Partners with The Economist

Last night, InnoCentive Founder Alph Bingham presented at The Economist’s “The Ideas Economy: Innovation” event at the University of California, Berkeley.  At the conclusion of his presentation, Economist editor Vijay Vaitheeswaran (pictured at left with Alph and Executive Director of brand communications, events & media development for The Economist Justin Hendrix.) announced an exciting new partnership between InnoCentive and The Economist.

As the heart of this partnership is the goal of solving some of the world’s really big Challenges – like, how do you feed 100M more children?  How do you provide access to clean water in developing countries?   In the coming months, we’ll be posting Challenges in collaboration with our colleagues at The Economist to address just these types of issues.  We’re very excited about this new partnership, which we hope will provide even more exposure to some of the world’s most pressing problems.

We’ll be announcing the first Challenge soon – in the meantime, we’d like to thank The Economist for helping us promote and advance more meaningful problem solving.

    Our Green IT innovation is essentially for the benefit of society at large both on a macro as well as micro scale. Its social utility lies in the fact that it aims to provide legal justice/ education/ agricultural advice/ food banking/ and social solutions all at negligible costs that too using a ready hand -held device. Hence it is revolutionary in narure and will teach the benefits of profit-=sharing to one and all thus promoting financial and social harmony.

    i am endeavouring to create / enhanceprticipation Public, Private and governments sectors to promote this life nonlife items adopted hand held instrument/Tattoo/history card and easy to use operate systems use/apply/merge or enter into our Green IT Mobile internet devices (MID)chain of circle . in short the thrust is towards promoting government particpation and instituioal participation as well as trying to inolve pvt sector participation .
    These efforts are expected to catch popular attention as well as attract the right kind of social and financial attention so as to promote better health/ justice and a harmonious society at large in the next three-5 years.
    Partnerships add value to ones ideas and particiption through partnerships brings in second opinions, financial support,funding and promotion via the right kind of awareness and publicity. Thus in the case of my innovations also partnerships could provide funds which are essential for the implementaion and enhancement of vital socially useful ideas.
