Scientific American Innovation Pavilion

Scientific American Innocvation Pavilion

Scientific American, the leading authoritative consumer-oriented science magazine and the oldest continuously published magazine in the United States, has been bringing its readers unique insights about developments in science and technology for more than 160 years.  Now, expanding on that tradition, the magazine has partnered with InnoCentive to create the Scientific American Open Innovation Pavilion to increase ways in which to engage its audience in solving technological issues and making innovation happen.
This Pavilion offers the millions of science and technology enthusiasts in Scientific American’s readership worldwide, InnoCentive’s Global Solver Network, and any creative person from around the world an opportunity to help not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, and commercial enterprises, solve their most pressing science, technical, and policy problems.  Solvers can apply their expertise, stretch their creative boundaries, and win cash awards ranging from $5,000 to $1 million – all the while helping advance human progress and making the world a better place.
