Wazoku is looking for your insights into the most actionable and revenue-generating opportunities for AI, Quantum technologies, Blockchain applications, and Cybersecurity developments in the telecommunications industry.

We’d love to hear about your experience in the field, any unmet needs or pain points in the industry, and your validated opportunities for how these technologies could revolutionise telecoms in the near-term (within 5 years) and beyond.

Tell us about you and your expertise in this area, or refer someone from your network to participate in this Challenge! The best proposals could also be invited for in-depth interviews, which would be financially-compensated.

Insights sourced from this Challenge could receive a share of the $500 award, depending on their relevance and your validated expertise. WIN Scouts who refer others to this Challenge (and tell us!) could win a share of a separate $500 recognition award for validated referrals you invite to the Challenge and who then submit their winning insight.
 

By taking part in and submitting to this Prize Challenge you are granting Wazoku a right to use (but not own) your submitted information, provided that Wazoku pays the threshold of at least $500 in awards and decides the award winners within 45 days from the start of evaluation, otherwise Wazoku retains the right to use only Awarded solutions.

Submissions to this Challenge must be received by 11:59 PM (US Eastern Time) on September 30th, 2025.

Background

Wazoku’s Market Intelligence Lab™ is used by companies across the world to explore opportunities, validate solutions, and exploit existing technologies to create new value.

In this telecoms-focused opportunity, we’re looking for validated insights and information about the application of novel and innovative technologies within this category.
 

The Challenge

We’re looking for insights around how the following technologies can make a real and revenue-generating impact on the telecoms industry:

• AI
• Quantum technologies
• Blockchain
• Cybersecurity

Share your insights, industry experience, and actionable expertise for the consumer and operations side of telecoms, including how these technologies are already making a change or could break through in the next 5 years to unlock significant value.

Insights that include the unique context of the telecoms industry, including its regulatory, infrastructure, and business model landscape would be highly regarded.

Whether you work there now, have experience in this field in the last 18 months, or know someone who would be perfect to share their insights, please let us know – applications take just 2 minutes.

SOLUTION REQUIREMENTS

Wazoku is only interested in applications which meet the following must-have requirements:

1. Relevant role, expertise, or responsibilities within the telecoms industry, or extensive knowledge through adjacent experience.
2. Required detail, format, and validation of insights shared
3. Fit to the 4 key exploratory areas: AI, Quantum, Blockchain, Cybersecurit

We ask all Solvers to also signal their potential interest in participating in follow-up interviews in September and October 2025.

This Prize Challenge has the following features:

1. By taking part and submitting you are granting Wazoku a right to use (but not own) your submitted information, provided that Wazoku must determine the award winners within 45 days from the start of evaluation, otherwise Wazoku loses this right except for Awarded solutions.
2. The best solution(s) has the opportunity to win a share of the $500 award pool for meeting all must-have solution requirements, as solely determined by Wazoku.
3. Awards will be contingent upon the theoretical evaluation of the proposal by Wazoku against the Solution Requirements, and potential interview validation of your insights.
4. WIN Scouts are invited to participate in this Challenge, this being any Solver who can propose a potentially suitable partner from your network. By referring a relevant partner you could receive a share of a separate $500 referral award if they submit a winning insight.

The submitted proposals must be written in English and can include:

1. Participation type – you will first be asked to inform us how you are participating in this Challenge, as an Expert or WIN Scout (submission uses an alternative form).
2. Your Name/Name of Referred Individual
3. Your Contact Information/Contact Information of Referred Individual
4. Your Role or Expertise/Your Referred Individual’s Role or Expertise
5. Your Insights around the impact of AI, quantum technologies, blockchain, or cybersecurity within the telecoms industry (consumer and/or operation) (1,000 words, there is space to add more)
6. Your interest in participating in potential, paid-for interviews on the topic

PARTICIPATION GUIDANCE

1. Submission Close Date: Submissions to this Challenge must be received by 11:59 PM (US Eastern Time) on September 30th, 2025.
2. Late submissions: Late submissions will not be considered.
3. Multiple submissions, 3 Maximum: In case of multiple submissions by the same Solver, only 3 submissions – the final 3 submitted – will be considered. Any other submissions will be deleted prior to evaluation.
4. Evaluation notification steps: After the Challenge submission close date, Wazoku will review and select the winning solutions according to the timeline in the Challenge header. Everyone who submits a proposal will be notified about the status of their submissions.
5. Use of AI: Please note that any submissions produced solely with generative AI are not of interest.
