This is a paper chemistry request for InnoCentive #2068. Please provide a detailed retrosynthetic analysis with literature precedence for the following chemical structure. The top five novel synthetic routes will receive an award. The following target molecule is in need of an efficient synthetic strategy. We are seeking a novel synthetic route that will allow this compound to be prepared from readily available raw materials. This synthetic route must be amenable to large scale production (several thousand Kg/year). Please provide a detailed description of your synthetic pathway with supporting experimental detail (methods and conditions). The route will need to be reproduced in our laboratories for verification. A match to reference spectral data (available on request to registered solvers)and the delivery of a multigram sample will be required. Avoid highly toxic reagents and solvents (carcinogens, allergens, reproductive hazards, or highly potent compounds) as well as extremes in reaction temperatures (-30C,>150C).
