Challenge overview

The Seeker requires paper submissions describing protocols, methods and technologies for the endogenous expression and detection of extracellular, biologically active human interleukin 25 gene product.

The Seeker wishes to engage with a small number of winning Solvers who are willing to implement and validate their proposed solution. It is intended that this implementation will be part of an ‘invitation only’ Challenge for a high-value award.

This Challenge requires only a written proposal.

The Seeker is a global organization with expertise in immunology and inflammatory research. The Seeker has made multiple attempts to produce and isolate endogenous human IL-25 in order that functional assay systems may be refined and the biology of IL-25 and inflammatory responses might be explored.

The Seeker requires theoretical proposals describing materials and methods that will enable production of endogenous, extracellular & biologically active IL-25. Existing data that validates the proposal is welcomed, but the Seeker hypothesizes that a winning solution would most likely require development.  Solvers whose proposals are of interest will be awarded and invited to participate in a second challenge to develop and validate their proposal.

This is a Theoretical Challenge that requires only a written proposal to be submitted.  The Challenge award will be contingent upon theoretical evaluation of the proposal by the Seeker.

To receive an award, the Solvers will not have to transfer their exclusive IP rights to the Seeker.  Instead, they will grant to the Seeker non-exclusive license to practice their solutions.
