The MasterCard Foundation Clients at the Centre Prize is looking to find and recognise the most customer-focused organisation working to enable poor people in developing countries to access formal financial products and services.

The Prize consists of one US$100,000 cash award and US$50,000 in consulting support to expand or reinforce client-centric practices within the winning organisation. Three to five finalists will be invited to present their innovations in front of peers and leading industry professionals at The 2015 MasterCard Foundation Symposium on Financial Inclusion in Cape Town, South Africa. This will provide finalists a unique opportunity to showcase their businesses and work in front of this influential international audience.

The Prize intends to highlight best practices in financial services that make it a priority to understand the financial needs and wishes of people living in poverty and responds to them with the appropriate products and services, and their delivery. The organisation receiving the Prize will be one that ensures client voices are the most influential in driving business strategies and decisions.
